Meet the Team

Kirk Offerle

Owner + General Manager

Initially hailing from the entertainment business, Kirk lived in Italy for 9 years where he first developed a passion for food and wine. He co-owned and operated the restaurants Jazzed Cafe and Vinoteca for 10 years in Las Vegas. Kirk owned and operated Ciao Uva, an import/ distribution company in Nevada from 2006-2018. He sold Ciao Uva in 2018 and moved to Reno, NV where he purchased Crooked Wine Company in 2021.

Connie Chambers

Director of Sales

Connie had a long career performing with such giants as Lance Burton, The Beach Boys and Motley Crue. After co-owning Jazzed Cafe and Vinoteca for 10 years, she transitioned to sales with Ciao Uva in Las Vegas. In 2018, Connie moved to Good Spirits for Northern Nevada. In 2021, Connie became the sales Manager for Crooked Wine Company.

Lauren Adams

Office Manager

I love living in Reno and have been here most of my life. I'm a wife and mother to 2 wonderful children. When I'm not taking care of my Crooked Wine team, I'm spending time with my family and getting outside as much as possible in our beautiful Reno/Tahoe area.

Greg Herzfeldt

Sales Representative Northern Nevada

Greg grew up in Lodi, California. He graduated from Fresno State University with a degree in Enology. While volunteering at the University winery, he also completed an internship at Van Ruiten Winery in Lodi. During his senior year, he became the wine maker at Fasi Estate Winery in Madera, California which included managing 42 acres of organic vineyards. Three years later, he moved on to become an associate winemaker at the Villa Toscano and Bella Piazza in Plymouth, California. Greg has mooved into the sales side oof the business and joined CWC salesforce.

Wine is my garden so to speak. I’ve spent my entire adult and professional life in it. I’ve worked in retail and I’ve worked in wholesale, mostly in the state of Nevada. I’m very happy to be at Crooked Wine Company and to have the privilege to sell their imported wine book. It’s a spectacular book full of spectacular farmers from all over the world.

Bill Satterfield

Key Account Manager NE Corridor / GV

Bill worked for Southern Wine & Spirits of California for 22 years left to go work for Young's market Liquor company of California for 7 years. During that time, he achieved his CSW & CSS certifications then retired and moved to Nevada.

Chris Messer

Operations Manager Las Vegas

I have worked in the liquor industry off and on for 15 years. Initially with Southern Wine Spirts out of California as a merchandiser then moved to sales. After running my own construction business for 5 years I moved back east to manage a warehouse . I am excited to be part of the CWC team and be a part of their continued growth.
